The holidays are over and your budget might have been stretched a little far. Did a portion of your budget go to raking care of your pets while you travelled for merry festivities? Most boarding places charge you to board your pets by the pound. That is a drastic difference between boarding a Mastiff and a Dauschand. Wouldn’t your trips and vacation be more relaxing if you knew your pets were comfortable at your home instead of in a sterile cage?
In most cities and towns there are pet sitters that will come to your house and take care of your pets. They will come multiple times a day, feed your pets, take them for a walk and spend an allotted amount of time with your furry loved ones. These professionals are available to you on the weekend, holidays or even during the day. If you can’t go home for lunch and you know your pet needs a mid-day walk, you can also get the pet sitters to come by on a daily basis for a walk and some play time for your pet. The specifics are up to the sitter and the pet owner, but there are many different packages offered by many different pet sitters out there.
Some packages offered even include plant watering, bringing in the paper, checking your mail or turning on holiday lights on and off when you are out of town; some small house upkeep while you are traveling. Making your house look lived in and watched during trips will bring a peace of mind.
Knowing that your pet is at home, safe and well taken care of instead of in a cage somewhere with strangers would be a huge comfort to any pet owner. Having your home taken care of and looked after on a daily basis while you are out of town is a comfort to homeowners. Consider hiring a pet sitter for your peace of mind.
