The most well- known of type of this bacterium is what is known as Bordetella Bronchiseptica, and is known to cause kennel cough. Common bacterial diseases that are tick-born include ehrlichiosis and Lyme disease.A zoonotic disease that is a result of the bacterium from genus Leptospira is known as Leptospirosis. Dogs and humans get infected from contact with soil, food, or water that contains urine that came from infected animals.
